Randy Levin

For twenty years, Randy made his living as a stand-up comedian, performing at the nation’s most prestigious comedy clubs, major concert halls, Equity theaters, colleges, and on television…plus of course the occasional prison release party. He is also an award-winning playwright with an MFA in Creative Writing.
Inspired by Dead Poet Society, Randy became a high school English and drama teacher. Recognizing that he must have watched the movie one too many times, he quickly realized that classroom teaching wasn’t for him. (Some of his students and administrators realized it as well).
For the past 15 years, Randy has helped over 1,000 high achieving students from across the country and internationally with their college application essays for top tier schools.
At the age of 58, Randy picked up the guitar and immediately became obsessed. He’s been taking lessons weekly (Dan Delvecchio) and loves playing for himself. (Anyone who accidentally hears Randy play also loves that he prefers to play for himself).
